The last matches of the month was played at Roda
Golf Resort and a clear sunny day making for ideal
golfing conditions, early League leaders Terra
Mitica took on newcomers Alamo Golf Society, who
were looking for an overall win. These series
of matches were a good team scoring effort with
only three players not getting into thirty individual
points.
Both sides picked the day to be the days highest
scorers, which would have beaten the others,
They came very close to it but the difference
for them winning and taking the bonus points
was just one solitary point, that missed three
footer could have been the difference, one match
ended up all square.
But low and behold the first matches out had
a similar fate with Deutscher Golf Club, also
newcomers suffering a similar fate, missing
out on the bonus points by that one point, not
high scoring but never the less close.
Los Amigos seem to be playing to their name
they collectively scored the third highest points
of the day only two of the team falling short
of the thirty points plus, which seems to be
the required average.
The last match was a low scoring event with
only a total of five points separating the two
sides with Ibero Alemanischer coming out on
top.
In most teams games it needs a joint effort
and non more so than in the Vega Baja Premeir
Golf League, pushing to the last hole even if
the parings are falling short, those individual
points can make the difference.
Two results were just one point between the
teams and the results was seven points each,
in both the matches Deutscher vs Eurogolf and
Alamo vs Terra Mitica there were pairings that
scored the same points, How close can you get?
